It started in a Mumbai summer. Humidity at 85%. Kajal sliding. Foundation patchy. And a packet of foreign blotting papers that smelled like chemicals and left a waxy film.

Mattly was born from a simple question: why doesn't a product like this exist for us? Something that works with Indian skin—oilier in humidity, more melanin-rich, more diverse in texture—not against it.
